Another year has passed. Birthdays have a way of reminding you about life’s temporary nature and what might be holding your attention that may or may not be of eternal significance.
Well, that’s enough insightful thinking for me! Heck, it’s my birthday so why not celebrate? I actually got out last night and did some shopping. All of my kids wanted to go with me, and I said, “Ummm……NO!” Does that sound awful? You know this feeling if you’re a homeschooler….You RARELY have 5 minutes to yourself to hear your own thoughts or to do something just for you. I’m so thankful that my husband gets that, so he kept the kids while I treated myself to coffee, home accessories, and clothes-a much needed event on so many levels.
