Girl’s night out
Had a great time with girlfriends at our neighborhood annual Christmas party. Lots of good laughs, food, and drinks. Events such as these are a wonderful break from the academic setting. You really have to be deliberate to pause from the everyday to make time for friends and fellowship-not an easy task sometimes.
Today is our last Nutcracker practice before the show next weekend-yeah!
Planning on spending some time in the books this afternoon with the kids. We are a bit behind where I normally like to be so perseverance is key.
