I covered almost nothing academically today (which truthfully makes me anxious). There was very little time to teach since a large part of the day was spent running errands and working around the house. We listened to a couple of Latin exercises and part of Anne of Green Gables on our fabulous trip to Walmart.
This is one of those super Walmarts that swallows you as you walk in, but it was a necessary trip. I had to buy things like air filters, mops, cleaning products, and pots and pans. We then visited with our realtor for a few minutes after visiting a local nursery to buy plant food and mulch. My kids weren’t exposed to fine works of art, nor did they learn to play a new piece of music. We just spent the day doing everyday life activities. My plan was to cover 1/2 day of academics after returning home, but I just ran out of steam. Instead, the kids took pictures of sunsets with their grandmother, and I cooked (really). Tomorrow is a new day. Until then, it’s Final Four, baby!
