It’s official. I’ve finally reached a stopping point for summer break. Yah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe just a little excited.
I can’t believe I’ve finished my fourth year of teaching at home. I’ll be teaching four different grade levels from now on, so I have lots of prep work to do over the summer. But for now, I’m shutting my homeschooling brain down for a bit, and going to Cub Scout camp for the week! Minus my husband, my whole clan will be there. My oldest son, who’s now a Boy Scout, will be volunteering on the archery and BB range. I’m working with my daughter and the girls’ group (siblings). My other 2 sons will be Cub Scouts in the camp. I’m very interested to see how my youngest son will handle this. He’s a bit like Eeyore-kind of complains and moves slowly at times. This afternoon we went for orientation and their swim tests. I couldn’t believe he actually jumped in the pond. He kept saying the fish were going to bite him. I don’t think you could have paid me to get in there. They said the algae kept getting on their faces and mouths when they were trying to swim. Disgusting.
