Academics all day. My daughter was pushing my buttons this morning by having quite the attitude while we were reading. I hate to start our day with drama.
Tonight included gym time for me (yes), soccer, dance, and a bonfire for my oldest son. He thoroughly enjoyed a night out on a farm with other middle-schoolers of homeschooling families. S’mores, hot chocolate, and silly string wars-just what every young male needs.
After the kids finally went to bed around 10:30, I headed down to our basement. I’m painting some of the furniture from my daughter’s gymnastics place. Her gym needs a major decor overhaul, so I’m doing what I can in between the organized chaos.
Off to shower. It’s almost 1 A.M., and I don’t smell good.
