Attempting to plan out the weekly meals

We’ve had a birthday weekend with my second son. His party was held at an indoor rock climbing facility, so good times there.
Aside from that, the usual activities are happening this weekend. I actually went grocery shopping yesterday with a planned list of items to buy.  I spent over 2 hours in the store! The whole time I was shopping for food I was thinking about what else I could and needed to be doing. Maybe I need to stop thinking way, because food is important.  Just wish I was better in this area! My hope is that I can spend some time this evening cooking several meals for the week while my husband is running the children to activities. I’ve chosen several casserole dishes and soups along with “healthy” cookie recipes:) There are no expectations on how the food will turn out, but the past has never presented my cooking in a favorable light except for baking. I’m fairly good at baking sweets, but serving a diet of chocolate chess pies and chocolate sin would not go well over time.
More academic prep work this evening after the attempted cooking. As most everyone says, I don’t know where the time goes.

Kids, it looks like vomitus, but it actually tastes good

Well, I put together a crockpot dish this morning after breakfast that cooked all day, and it actually turned out well! Was not expecting that, at all.
Busy day of academics: tessellations, Escher, Manhattan project, times tables, fractions, plurals, colonial times, habitats, geography, phonics, Hitler, Great Depression, research paper, Helen Keller, and so forth.
Need sleep as I’ll be teaching 3 different math classes and memory work tomorrow at Excelsior.
