Studying bath mats in Walmart
I found myself at Walmart tonight. Not really my kind of shopping, but this is what I do with my free time. It’s not glamorous. I’d much rather be at the Louis store or Nordstrom trying on a new pair of leather boots, but such is the life of a homeschooler. I was choosing the best bath mat to use for teaching multiplication. I’m creating a homemade Montessori 100s board for our co-op.
Don’t be jealous:)
Break for decorating
We took the day off from academics so that I could begin the Christmas decorating. Because of the schedule change, I’ll teach over the weekend but it seemed to be a wise move given that the weather was so nice outside. The kids spent a large part of the day playing outside and helping me. We used the evening to prep for our last day of co-op classes tomorrow. Looking forward to a break from that, as well. Many benefits to co-op, but it’s also a great deal of work! Tomorrow, however, should be fun for the students. We’ll begin with watching a play of Aesop’s Fables followed by Christmas munchies and special afternoon classes.
Mid-life crisis
I’m pretty sure I’m having a mid-life crisis. I look in the mirror, and my face looks tired (maybe because I am!)
So, I went to the salon yesterday and dyed my hair bleach blonde. Had my stylist pretty nervous:)
It’s extreme for me. I guess if this is the worst thing I do in my middle age I’m doing okay?
Saturday-soccer, lax, birthday party, Latin, piano, and painting the garage..
My laundry is still out of control:(
