Off-line
We are post-dance recital today. Such a wonderful thing to watch your daughter perform on stage. I was going down memory lane with my girlfriends last night as I reminisced about my dancing and cheering days that occurred many, many years ago! I used to work and teach for a company called “Universal Dance Assocation” (UDA)-you know the competitions you see on ESPN with the dancers and cheerleaders? I was one of those girls dancing around. I also choreographed for high school national dance competitions, traveled in the summer working at their camps, and danced in college. How surreal to watch your child continue that love of dance.
You know after you have a very busy weekend that you have to play catch and clean-up. My husband and I are taking a few days for ourselves this week. It’s a combination of business and anniversary celebration (20 years next month!) so I’ll be off-line for a few days:) Always good to take a break from the everyday. Back soon…
Hubby arrived home after a week long trip overseas
It was a long week for me without him being home. Lots to juggle with no breaks, but we survived. The laundry is not finished. My wood floors are dirty. There is sports equipment strewn everywhere. The mail is in a huge stack. So glad I have a spouse who gets what I go through!
